Under Communist rule, Jewish learning and religious life across the former Soviet Union were nearly extinguished. Today, that light is returning. At Yad Yisroel's schools and community programs in Belarus, children gather to light menorahs, sing, learn, and celebrate together.

Did you know? During Chanukah, older students from Yad Yisroel's schools visit sick and elderly community members, including Holocaust survivors, bringing candles, songs, latkes, and companionship into their homes.
